Definitions -

 

Street Magic - Modern sleight-of-hand close-up magic that has recently grown in popularity.  Made popular on TV specials, it is normally performed for small crowds on the Street and at festivals.

 

Strolling Magic -  Typically the same as Street Magic, usually performed by Magicians in a restaurant setting, going from table to table.

 

Close-Up Magic - Card Tricks and Sleight-of-Hand Magic with small objects, such as coins, sponge balls, and other everyday items.

 

Stage Magic - A show performed on a stage for a large audience.  Stage Magic can include Illusions, Escapes, Comedy bits, Audience participation, Mentalism, Levitations, Disappearances, and Reappearances.

 

Escape Magic - A trick in which the Magician makes a daring escape from some type of restraint or dangerous device.
